134 ARTISTS MOVE TO FINAL ROUND OF JUDGING IN 2009
HUNTING ART PRIZE.
HOUSTON - Hunting PLC announced today that 134 Texas artists have been selected to move on to the final round of judging in the 2009 Hunting Art Prize. The artists are:

These artists were chosen to move past the first phase of the two-tiered jury process. A second meeting of the jury panel in April will determine the winner of the competition’s $50,000 award. That artist will be announced at a gala on May 2nd. The 2009 competition was open to established, emerging, or amateur artists that are residents of the State of Texas and who are at least 18 years of age or older.
